Welcome to New WCS Neighborhood Organizer Jason Sharif

Please join us in welcoming Jason Sharif to our Whole Child Strategies team!

As a community and youth advocate for over 20 years, Jason was raised in the South Memphis community of Whitehaven. After graduating from Whitehaven High School, Jason received his B.A. in Political Science from Jackson State University and his M.P.A. in Public Administration from Tennessee State University.

He worked for the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services in the roles of CPS Investigator, Juvenile Justice Probation Officer, and Juvenile Justice Regional Coordinator. He taught sixth grade social studies at Craigmont Middle School and recently served as the Director of the Westwood High School Boys & Girls Club before accepting his current role as Neighborhood Organizer for Whole Child Strategies. Jason sees his current role as just a continuation of his life’s work of developing a new generation of leaders to serve and lead our communities.

Welcome, Jason!
