Reginald Johnson Sr.

Reginald Johnson Sr. is an Army veteran, nationally credentialed advocate, motivational speaker, community educator, trainer, writer, and executive director of Boys Incorporated, (Boys Inc.), a nonprofit organization that he formed in 2009 to empower young boys to become positive young men for themselves, their families and their community.  Since its founding, Boys Inc. has served countless boys and their families in collaboration with Victims to Victory, MIFA’s Transitional Home Program, Family Safety Center, Shelby County Crime Victim Center, the Office of Early Childhood & Youth, KIPP Academy, and Ridgeway Middle School.

A native Memphian, Mr. Johnson has served as a volunteer chaplain for the Family Safety Center and currently serves as a volunteer clergyman for the Memphis Police Department. He has worked as a Male Victim Advocate for the faith-based nonprofit organization Victims to Victory and as a Peer Counselor for the Shelby County Crime Victim Center.

He is a graduate of the Making a Difference in Memphis Institute, for which he later served as a member of the
faculty, and of Junior League of Memphis’ Leaders Evolving And Developing (LEAD) program. He has served on the Shelby County Early Success Coalition, the Memphis/Shelby County Sexual Violence Council, and the Infant Mortality Review Board and has been honored with numerous
community service awards and accolades.
